It was a tense day at Blue Moon command; a young man and his sister were riding out of the base quickly,
"Hurry Cal we need to get to the battle before the wounded are dead," she said looking out the window upset.
"Don't worry sis," he said pressing the gas, "We'll get there quickly that's a promise," he said smiling at her. Five minutes passed when Cal and his sister arrived at the battle,
"Alexis we need you to go check in that building there's word of a serious injured soldier in there," said a Brigadier General to her left. She nodded as she and her brother both went their own ways, she carefully walked into the building seeing the wounded soldier sitting upon the wall,
"Whoa its ok comrade I'm here for you just be still," she said pulling out her medical supplies, "I'll help you out just relax," she said beginning to heal the wounded soldier. She smiled softly seeing the soldier slowly getting healed when they both heard a small thud and creaking noises coming from the next room,
"Wait here…I'll go check it out….don't worry I'll return before you die," she said standing up slowly turning to the next room.
She got up and opened the door slowly leaving it cracked looking over to the right not seeing anything. She tilted her head a bit walking over to the closet as she heard Artillery shells hitting around the area,
'You can do this Lex don't let this scare you,' she thought to herself taking a deep breath. She heard the click of the door opening when she slid it quickly seeing only dark clothing. She sighed smiling softly,
"Whew….I thought something bad was here," she said softly.
She turned only to feel something tightly around her ankles she quickly fell to the ground feeling whatever got her ankle's getting tighter around her legs,
"HEY LET GO OF ME!" she shouted with anger. She looked back seeing a giant snake coming out of the closet hissing softly at the meal it caught,
"SOMEONE HELP ME!!" she shouted loudly.
No one heard her shrieks of help due to the battle outside the building. The snake took its time realigning its coils it had on Alexis squeezing tighter on her trapping her arms to her sides for good,
"Doc….please….hurry…I feel…close…to dying," said the wounded soldier in the other room.
While the soldier was slowly dying he heard nothing coming out of the next room as Alexis looked up into the Snakes eyes feeling its tail wrap tightly around her neck silencing her completely. She began to tear up knowing she was going to be the snakes dinner in a matter of seconds,
'I….I'm sorry Cal…please…please forgive me,' she thought to herself passing out from lack of air. The snake began to unhinge its jaw and began its lovely meal, elsewhere; General Cal and his men return from a great victory,
"Where's my sister guys?" he asked looking around.
"We're not sure sir…she hasn't come back from helping the injured in there," said a soldier pointing to the building.
He looked at it cautiously walking towards it, elsewhere; the snake was slowly feasting over Alexis chest enjoying its meal knowing it had to hurry before Cal arrived. It moved down over her chest trapping her arms in its mouth feeling Alexis trying to wiggle but its coils kept her still. It swallowed poor Alexis up to her knees knowing it was almost complete when the snake heard a door creak open,
"There's the soldier," said another medic walking over to him.
The snake quickened its pace swallowing Alexis fully as her feet went inside the snakes jaw licking its lips slithering back into the closet. Cal walked in seeing a blown hole in the wall,
"Dang it…they took my sister hostage….crap…come on guys we need to go," he said leaving the room. Little did he know that his sister was in the same room but was unable to call for help due to being dinner for a hungry snake.
